| Bongo Bolero...
 |
Richard and Nikki have been
Bongo Bolero since 1995. |
Not only are they are highly
skilled acrobats and all round circus performers but they
are also consummate performers.
|
 |
 |
They have 5 stunning and highly
individual shows. |
Bongo Bolero
A 10-minute stage show that introduces Penny and Bernie. A
couple who have been on the variety circuit for on too many
seasons. A comedy involving small hair attachments and very
big egos. Excruciatingly funny, highly skilled and dangerous |
 |
 |
Bongo Bolero’s Adagio
Cabaret
Penny and Bernie’s 45-minute street theatre show that
has toured the UK, New Zealand, Canada and the USA. Winner
of the 1st prize at the 2003 Bridlington Buskers Competition.
"Bongo Bolero shone with their combination of acrobatics
with well-feigned outright hatred..."
- The Press, Christchurch, New Zealand |
Adagio Statues
Most frequently asked question is: “Are they real?”
Two marble statuesque figures set on a classical white podium
very slowly come to life…there follows a mesmerizing
fusion of strength, grace and perfect fluidity of movement
underscored with an emotion seemingly trapped within stone.
Perfect for corporate events. |
 |
 |
Mano Mani
A classic adagio stage act.
An emotionally charged dance of technical precision performed
with a reckless disregard for gravity. A breathtaking display
of physical prowess, agility and grace seamlessly choreographed
to music by Penguin Café Orchestra. |
A Man on a Pole
A simple and elegant piece of circus apparatus, a sixteen
foot high Chinese Pole, is the dramatic setting for this act.
On top are handstand blocks. A wonderful connection with the
audience combined with a breathtaking display of athletism
and nerve make this an edge of your seat performance. The
handstand finale is a real heart-stopping moment the audience
will remember for a long time. |
 |
 |
Bongo Bolero will always leave
their audience either in hysterics of laughter or in awe at
the beauty they create. You can be sure that one of their
shows is perfect for your event. |
