Petra Lange...

Petra Lange was born in 1977 in Germany and is a former gymnast. Her career in circus began in London in 1998, when she trained as an aerial acrobat for the Millennium Show, where she performed throughout the year 2000.

Other performances include an international tour with "Excentricus" of the Montreal-based "Cirque Eloize".

For her solo act on vertical rope Petra Lange has been awarded a Special Prize at "La Piste aux Espoires", International Circus Festival in Tournai, Belgium (2001).

In her act "wrapped" Petra Lange tells a love story between herself and her rope.

With playful ease she effortlessly winds herself in and out of knots and loops, creating an image of perfect harmony as if floating through space.

Then again she throws herself up and down the rope at a breathtaking speed. Petra Lange amazes her audience with honesty, authenticity and expressiveness at an amazing skill level.
