Juggler...
Ian Marchant has two routines; one ring
juggling piece and a character based hat routine.
Ian's juggling routine is a mixture of movement
and ring juggling / manipulation. It is highly skilled yet
delicate in its presentation and is beautiful and easy to
watch.
An ethereal mixture of dance, juggling,
music and emotion take this routine into a world of its own,
the spectator left for the few seconds after just savouring
the moment they are left with.
Ian's hat routine is a character based routine
based around the character "Alfred George". a music
hall star from the hey day of vaudeville who "always
had a ready wink for the audience" (Worlds Faire).
This routine is skillful and funny and is easy to watch by anyone from the age of three to ninety three. Done in the style of the music hall, reflected in the music and demure of Alfred George. |
As one spectator said "One of the most beautiful pieces of juggling I have seen in a long time". |
