MissingLinkProductions Newsletter March 2002...

News

Welcome to a brief March newsletter, as this month I have been gallivanting in Australia. I am just about acclimatising to the lack of sun, beaches and mountains in London. I have returned refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to handle all those jubilee celebration bookings that are already flooding in.

I did manage to get to the Hoxton Bark this month, which is a new cabaret at Hoxton Hall. Ian Marchant performed his wonderful comedy hat juggling routine whilst Vicki Amadume and Kirsty Little from The Wrong Size performed an elegantly stylish doubles trapeze routine. The event was a welcome return for an accessible, quality cabaret in London. The next event will be held on 5th April, for further information call 0207 739 5431.

I have information on the Independent Street Arts Network meeting for performers who are interested. If you have not received information yourself and would like to know more, please do call me.

Web Site

There has still been time for a few additions to the web site.

Rob Horsman's Elliptical Circus and his stunning contact juggling pictures have been added. For those of you who remember the film Labarynth, you will also recall how striking this crystal manipulation skill is.

There have also been some new pictures of Grant Goldie added to the web site. Grant performs elegant devilstick, diablo, yo-yo and juggling routines to an exceptionally high skill level. and the pictures are definitely worth checking out.

Gandini Juggling have now officially dropped the word 'Project' from their company name. The Web site has been updated accordingly.

Quote of the Month

To summarise my February, the quote this month just has to be (in your broadest bogan Ozzie accent)

"Pretty Average, Mate"

Have a great March all of you.

Warm Regards

Anna
