Small Print

In order to gain mentions in the newsletter, performers are requested to keep me up to date with their latest news, reviews, acts, antics, costumes, ideas, appearances, pictures, plans and gossip. Especially the gossip. It does not all go in I promise. But I do like to be kept up to date. Send us pictures, you get publicity in the newsletter - it really is that simple. Any information you would like to share with other performers may also be included, thought we try not to publicise up coming gigs for obvious reasons. Most of the content of this newsletter is based on things that I have seen and heard with my own eyes and ears, other bits are simply rumours provided by performers themselves. I can take no credit for such things. Though I do sometimes try to verify them if I get the chance. Though every parent tries not to have favourites, performers working for us at trade shows do get in our good books, and those who are willing to help us raise money for charity get extra brownie points. We have a stand at RSVP this year if anyone wants to get early gold stars. Special cakes are reserved for performers who write down their reference numbers. Pencils mean we are putting you up for gigs. We have a new system in place where you can check up on the progress of things. Ask us about it. It really is starting to work. Updates to the website are made during evening and weekends - the slower they happen the healthier an agent I am in the mornings... Please bear with us; it is just the way the systems work. A huge thank you to Thom Chesser, without whom my syntax would be a lot more painful on the eye. And for being my brain. He does work hard, bless 'im. Missing Link Productions ltd has this month has been featuring, Helena, my partner in giggles , ask her about the Xmas party, go'on, I dare ya, (Dainty in the Clown on the website for those of you who want a peek), Sarah, the politest person ever to answer a telephone and Queen of Administralia, John from the Stretch People, who is like our office Buddhist, bringing calm and smiles wherever he treads, he does a very good ringmaster act too, John, you are my favourite. Philip, our winner of battles, diplomat and general sweet talker, Thom, his patience, his acceptance of all our bullying (well mine), his brain, his ability to fix everything except my computer, but most of all, for inventing the internet.
