Welcome to the first newsletter of the Xmas rush! |

I
was lucky enough to get to see some fantastic shows this past month,
ranging from silent sign songstress Caroline
Parker's fantastic solo show, Signs of a Diva. Caroline
has also been nominated for best actress in the television show
'Switch'. If you have seen Caroline's great performances in
this show, I am sure you will be interested in knowing where you
can register your vote; all you need to do is visit www.remark.uk.com/filmandtvawards
I was also able
to see one of the best cabarets I have seen in a long time at our
home The Circus Space. Vaudeville comedy balancing from Bongo
Bolero and a really stunning aerial cradle act from Duo
Vertigo.
I also managed to get along to the Sunday show of the London Juggling
Convention, again, held at the Circus Space. Well done to Owen
Reynolds for all his hard work in organising this.
Performers'
news this month is that we are rejoined by the forces of Cirq-U
and Aerial
Roots back from their respective half year's working in variety
shows in the prestigious Friedrichstradt Palast, Germany and No
Fit State Circus shows throughout the summer. Welcome back
to the girls who are some of our most versatile and hard working
performers. Do check out Aerial
Roots' Zorro theme trapeze act and their Nanny McPhee old lady.
The BBC red silks ladies, VIVA Aerial Dance,
have been out and about a lot this month. You can see both
girls as spinning bats in the film Batman Begins and Jane can be
seen floating around in the new Malteasers advert.
And finally...
It is with a heavy heart (and a heavy workload) we say goodbye to
Milly, here for the briefest time, but the lady really got stuck
in up to her elbows. Milly worked like a (storm) trooper and was
a joy to have around. When you get bored of living somewhere more
relaxing and sunny Milly, please come back to us in Hackney... you
know you will miss all the singing, dancing and atrocious puns. |

Seasonal Performers - 'Tis the season... |
I know... I know... November has only just begun, but that means
December is only four weeks away and the Christmas season is now
in full swing. Performers are getting booked up for the few key
weekends in December. Don't miss out on the entertainers you want
by leaving it too late.
We have many
Xmas
/ winter / ice themed performers on the website which can be seen
here,
but for a brief run down... |

In order to gain mentions in the newsletter, performers are
requested to keep me up to date with their latest news, reviews, acts,
antics, costumes, ideas, appearances, pictures, plans and gossip.
Especially the gossip. Get me the stuff and get the mention - that
is that way it works. Send us pictures, you get publicity in the newsletter
- it really is that simple. Any information you would like to share
with other performers may also be included, though we try not to publicise
up coming gigs for obvious reasons. This month we have mostly been
using the overwhelmed by the good karma of search engine http://www.everyclick.com
- select your charity and make donations every time you search stuff.
Can't find something on it? Search Google and access them through
there and give money to charities every day with little effort. Performers
who write down reference numbers get special treatment. Those who
do not check their datesheets get not a single cup of tea from the
house of Missing Link. Updates to the website are made during weekends
only - the slower they happen the healthier an agent I am... Missing
Link Productions Ltd has this month has been run by Helena, the lady
with the best Missy Elliot impression I have ever seen, Kat, lady
in red and Stephanie, lil miss slippety disk. Bye Milly. Come bacl
Milly. Miss you already Milly, you absolute peach, you. |
