News
At last summer seems to be finally here and the festival season is in full swing.

Throughout this month you can catch Bedlam Oz entertaining the crowds down at the London Eye, a pleasant addition to any afternoon spent down on the South Bank. Congratulations to Dave and Danielle of Bedlam Oz on the birth of their little girl Saphine this month.

Congratulations also to Tanya from Bolli Darling on the birth of Iggy. Lots of smiles and sleep too the both of you.

A big congratulations to aerialists Petra Lange and Dane Clarke on their new project working on Franco Dragone's new show in Las Vegas.

Featured Performer of The Month

This month's featured performer is Jon Hicks, who is definitely one of my personal favourites from all of the acts we represent. Jon performs outsized works of art from icon portraits to client specific pieces with fantastic finesse and presentation. His worked has featured at festivals around the world, featuring everywhere from department stores to Formula 1 car launches.

Jon is one of my favourite acts to work with on a personal level as he is so easy to work with and such a versatile performer. It is really nice to see someone enjoying what the do so much and to have the innovation to have such a fantastic skill and yet present it in so much more of an accessible form.

If I was organising an event, he would be top of the list.

Gig of the Month

The gig of July definitely has to be WOMAD festival last weekend. The cabaret tent hosted the jovial disk jockey with the gramophone Mr Dennis Teeth (also spotted playing his saw and ukulele), the hostess with the mostest (and soon to be on the site) Lady Margo, the acrobatic playfulness of Mimbre, the ever cheeky and hilariously funny Stickleback Plasticus (with added mooncups).

Thanks to all who worked so hard on the show, the organisers for being an utter joy to work with and all those of you who saw the shows and made such warm audiences.

Quote of the Month

Quote of the month this month for July has to be the fantastic conversation I had with Prince Charles whilst being invited to Clarence House for an evening for the Prince's Trust:

"Oh you work in the circus do you?" Said Charles to I "You don't work with those dreadful people who tumble down the ribbons do you?"

"Yes, your Highness, that is how I make my living." I replied

"How marvellous" he said.

Very hard to keep composed...

Have a fantastic August.

Warm regards,

Anna
